The Cherokee Lake Users Association (CLUA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 association. Our purpose is to help maintain, protect and enhance the quality of Lake Cherokee and its surroundings for the collective interests of its members. CLUA is specifically interested in keeping the lake clean. CLUA has held annual lake clean-ups in partnership with Keep America Beautiful (KAB), local communities, students, businesses, CARENET, SIERRA Club, Keep Tennessee Rivers Beautiful and local HOA’s. We plan on continuing to stimulate more and more interest each year with these clean up projects. CLUA keeps in touch with TVA, who has sponsored annual grants for us to provide supplies for our work and has had speakers at previous meetings. CLUA keeps its members updated on the lake through this web site and through social media.
